Are you someone who reads scriptures but often finds yourself forgetting the details? Do you have ADHD and worry that your flexible, fast-moving brain might be a hindrance in connecting deeply with spiritual texts? In this enlightening episode, we explore how the ADHD brain is naturally wired to be a creative reader, and why this unique perspective is a powerful asset when engaging with scriptures.
Join us as we delve into the concept of the "creative reader" – someone who actively interprets, visualizes, and connects with texts in imaginative and deeply personal ways. We'll discuss how the ADHD brain, with its ability to make rapid associations and see patterns, is perfectly suited for this type of reading.

Non-Emergengy Success

Tuesday Apr 16, 2024

Tuesday Apr 16, 2024

In this episode, we explore a unique perspective on productivity, particularly for individuals with ADHD. While many people rely on a sense of urgency or crisis to fuel their productivity, those with ADHD often experience a different response. Due to structural and chemical differences in the brain, individuals with ADHD may find that a crisis actually calms them down, allowing for improved focus and problem-solving. However, this episode challenges the notion that crisis is necessary for productivity. We discuss the importance of learning to tolerate negative feelings, such as boredom or understimulation, and reprogramming our approach to productivity. By recognizing that not everything needs to be "on fire" to be worthy of our time and attention, individuals with ADHD can cultivate a more sustainable and fulfilling approach to productivity.

In this deeply heartfelt and spicy episode, we dive headfirst into the world of ADHD. We challenge the notion that ADHD is merely a label and argue that it's actually a profound explanation of how our unique brains operate. Far from being a stigma, understanding ADHD can be the key to setting ourselves up for greater success, peace, joy, and fulfillment in life.
Many of us shy away from the idea of an ADHD diagnosis, fueled by fear and the societal stigma attached to it. But what if this fear is preventing us from embracing our true selves and reaching our full potential? Avoiding discomfort can lead to a whole host of other problems that we need to confront head-on.
People with ADHD deserve to feel understood, seen, and embraced. For many, this journey begins with an official ADHD diagnosis. Join us as we explore the transformative power of understanding and accepting our ADHD, breaking down barriers, and creating a path to a more fulfilling life.
