In today's episode, we will discuss the concept of outsourcing your brain and how it can help you to manage your ADHD symptoms and lead a more fulfilling life.
Outsourcing your brain can be an effective way for those with ADHD to manage their symptoms. It can mean implementing systems to make your life easier, making decisions ahead of time, or even hiring a professional to take care of tasks for you. The goal is to free up mental space so that you can focus on the things that matter most to you.
When you have ADHD, your brain is constantly in overdrive, making it difficult to stay on task and manage day-to-day activities. By outsourcing burdensome activities, you are able to live a more full life and create more resources and progress. This can lead to increased productivity, improved relationships, and a greater sense of well-being.
There are many different ways to outsource your brain, and the best method will vary depending on your individual needs and circumstances. Some options include:
Implementing systems to streamline your workflow and automate repetitive tasks
Making decisions ahead of time to eliminate decision fatigue
Hiring a professional to take care of tasks for you, such as a virtual assistant or personal concierge
Utilizing outsourcing platforms such as Fiverr or Upwork to find qualified individuals to help you with specific tasks
For some people with ADHD, the idea of outsourcing their brain may be met with resistance. This can be due to a fear of losing control or a sense of guilt for not being able to manage everything on their own. However, it is important to remember that outsourcing is not a sign of weakness, but rather a strategic way to maximize your resources and achieve your goals. By taking the time to identify your priorities and delegate tasks accordingly, you can create a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Living with ADHD can be challenging, but by outsourcing your brain and freeing up mental space, you can manage your symptoms more effectively and live a more intentional and fulfilling life. Whether you choose to implement systems, make decisions ahead of time, or hire a professional, the benefits of outsourcing are undeniable. So why not give it a try and see how it can transform your life? Thanks for tuning in to The Busy Brained Saint, and we'll see you next time!

In this episode, we discuss the common issue of making feelings of inadequacy mean that we have done something wrong. As adults with ADHD, it's important to recognize that we are the boss of our life and that we get to make the rules. We can focus on our own progress and accomplishments, and understand that our current reality is not a problem as long as we are taking steps towards our aligned goals, regardless of what others may say or have said in the past.

In this podcast episode, we explore ADHD and the importance of assessing your strengths. While hyperfocus is often associated with ADHD, it is not the only strength individuals with ADHD possess.
We explore the concept of "strength-based assessment" and how it can help individuals with ADHD better understand their unique strengths and abilities. By focusing on their strengths, individuals with ADHD can build confidence and self-esteem, which can in turn improve their overall well-being.
Additionally, we discuss the benefits of seeking out support and guidance from professionals, such as coaches or therapists, who specialize in ADHD. These experts can provide valuable insights and strategies to help individuals with ADHD harness their strengths and achieve their goals.
Overall, this podcast episode emphasizes the importance of recognizing and cultivating strengths in individuals with ADHD, rather than solely focusing on their challenges and deficits.
