General Conference, ADHD and Trusting Personal Revelation
General Conference can be an incredible opportunity for personal revelation—but for ADHDers, it can also feel like an information overload. The urge to write everything down, capture every quote, and keep up with every talk can leave us exhausted and disconnected from what matters most. In this episode, we’re rethinking how we approach Conference with ADHD. Inspired by Elder David A. Bednar’s counsel—“Nothing you hear tonight will come from my voice… Write down what the Holy Ghost tells you”—we’ll explore why ADHDers feel the need to write everything down, how we can develop greater self-trust in receiving revelation, and practical strategies to truly hear what God has for us. Instead of fighting our ADHD, we can work with our brains to create a more meaningful, Spirit-led experience. Tune in for a fresh perspective on engaging with General Conference in a way that works for you!
